Save the date: World Car Free Day, Step 22

Every year cities around the world celebrate World Car Free Day on September 22. but curiously, the USA doesn't seem to recognize this event. This year we're going to change that! We are planning an event on that day that will include a mobile mobilization event downtown. We will take to the streets in human powered (and e-assist) vehicles of all kinds: bikes, scooters, rollerblades, skateboards, and we will have a slow roll journey through our beloved city. It will give us time to imagine what Boston could be if we stopped prioritizing cars.

We're in the early planning phase and if you have ideas about how you'd like to participate let us know.
